After coming home from the Cardio Thorasic Surgeon's, my sister and I did more research on the procedure that I will be having performed on my lung. It's easier to read from the website because at this point, I don't know the specific details myself. I do have a feeling that a biopsy will be part of the procedure. I will be in the hospital a few days. Not sure what lung the procedure will be performed on at this point.
What I do know is that I'm scared about the process but will put everything in God's hands as I've done in the past.

Never heard of such a procedure, but I am very thankful for the hope that modern medicine offers. Kind of makes me think of a balloon - I've seen a powdery substance on the inside of a balloon before, presumably to keep it from sticking together on the inside before it is inflated.
As always, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers - that the procedure will go smoothly, that God will guide the hands of the surgeon, for benign results if any biopsy is taken, for as little pain as possible, for a quick recovery, and for strength for you and Butch.
Keep us posted as you feel up to it. Any update - no matter how long or how short - and no matter the content (I've heard it said that you sometimes don't blog because you feel like you are complaining too much - NONSENSE; I like to hear it all, of course, as you feel comfortable in sharing it - it helps me to continue to feel connected when we are separated by so many miles, and it helps me to rejoice with you in the little victories, or to encourage you during minor setbacks.)
Love,
Kelli
Sharon,
I know you're scared - anyone in your shoes would be - it seems like quite the procedure. However, I am so happy that you have access to skilled doctors who are able to help you in this way! I imagine it's hard, Sharon, but continue to be strong. I pray for continued strength for you and Butch and that the doctor's hands are guided from above.
Sending prayers and hugs...
Rosemary
Sharon,
I prayed so much for you today! I know that God will hear all of us in our prayers for you. I pray this next procedure goes well and that you will find relief from the discomfort. You are so brave and we are thinking about you always.
Hi Sharon! I am sorry I have not been posting ... there was a glitch with my blog site and I just now got it fixed. I have been tracking your status. You have a beautiful family and it looks like you had a full house at Thanksgiving. I did too ... my sister and her husband and kids came and we ate way too much.
I will pray that this procedure goes smoothly. Please continue to keep us informed about how you are doing ... we all care so very much and carry you in our hearts and thoughts.
XO
Diane
Sharon,
Book Fair is packed up and ready to roll out. I know you know the mass of boxes that go along with that and I am sitting at the library desk HIDDEN away behind all of these crates/boxes. Tomorrow we go back at it with our classes again and then the count down for break begins.
I think of you often and have sent hugs and prayers.
Miss you Lots and lots
Peggy
Hi Sharon,
You've been on my heart...
I'm not sure if you've had the lung procedure performed yet or not, perhaps you're resting up for it or resting up from it. I'm asking the Lord to meet you right where you are at this moment and provide you with exactly what you need. He knows your beautiful heart (He knit you together) and He loves you, Sharon.
With Love,
Darla
Sharon -
Thinking of you especially today, as you celebrate your birthday. Though I understand you might not be celebrating it at home, I hope that you are able to turn your burdens over to God today, as well as your pain, and let Him carry that baggage for you today so that you are able to focus on you and enjoying your very special day. I'm wearing purple today in honor of you, and truly wish that I could be there in person to give you a hug and to sing "happy birthday". However, know that you are close at heart today and every day, and that you are wished a ton of good wishes and blessings today and every day.
Lots of love and birthday hugs,
Kelli
